Welcome
About Us
The Sumatran Tiger Society is dedicated to saving all of the members left in our endangered tiger community. We are only located in the Indonesian island of Sumatra, a rain forest biome. Unless we plan to attract a mate, we plan to remain solitary animals for our whole lives. This means that we don't live or travel in packs, and we survive on our own.
Recent NewsThere are currently less than 400 of us Sumatran Tigers remaining in the world. We have become the smallest tiger species that still survives today. Due to the increased deforestation and poaching, we are losing our habitats and being killed in mass numbers for play.
